EARLY LIFE OF BRIAN LARA :

Brian Lara was born in Trinidad . Brian Lara have ten siblings and he is on the tenth number . He is a soft spoken , innocent , straightforward and a very easy individual . This champion cricketer had the germs of Cricket right from the very beginning and somehow his father and his father's sister noticed and detected that talent in him and they admitted him in one of the coaching clinics at the age of six and that coaching sessions really helped him to learn techniques. He received education from St .Joseph Primary School and then for some reasons he changed his school and went into the other Secondary school . Slowly but gradually he worked on his Cricket with his studies . It was difficult time for Brian Lara because he had to study as well as play Cricket , but then after completing his studies he got a job in the marketing department of one of the well known organization .

His role models were Sir Viv Richards , Malcom Marshall and Clive Lloyd and his aim was to be like them and play like them .He had interest in other sports as well but As every one knows that he is a man of strong aim ,determination and courage and he made his mind that he will work hard , struggle and will achieve his target one day .

He said in one of his interviews that at one time I made a plan about my career and I said to my self :

" Come what may , but I will achieve my aims one day "

So these things play an important part in your life because if you have strong determination , courage and fiction , then you can do whatever you want .

His Cricket career started at the age of 14 . All his coaches detected some talent in him and he played for his College and scored massive runs for them at the average of above 100 runs . So that twinkled the eye of most of his coaches and they saw some extra ordinary abilities in him and they backed him up after that he got selected for the Trinidad Under 16 Team which was a big thing for Brian Lara and he made his mind that he will go into the national team and from there on the journey started for Brian Lara .
